Illuminating the Path: Getting to Know the California Hispanic and Latin American Research Lodge

Dear Brothers of the California Hispanic and Latin American Research Lodge, welcome to a new and promising Masonic year! As we stand on the threshold of 2025, a time for reflection and renewal, we chart new courses and strengthen the bonds that unite us as Brothers.

This first quarter, the Lodge is pleased to present a series of initiatives designed to enrich your Masonic experience and foster intellectual and spiritual growth for each of you.

To our Brothers who have recently joined our Masonic community, we extend a warm welcome. It is an honor for us to introduce ourselves and share our vision and objectives.

The California Hispanic and Latin American Research Lodge was established on July 26, 2023, and Constituted on November 9, 2024, under the light of wisdom and guidance of Masonic Principles and the Grand Lodge of California. Our goal is to disseminate knowledge, conduct research, and deepen understanding of the Spanish Ritual of the California Blue Lodge (Preston-Webb), for the benefit of all regular Masons in the state of California.

Furthermore, we aim to exemplify and explore the symbolism of Latin American liturgies of the Scottish Rite, to enrich our understanding of Masonic Tradition. Our Research Lodge seeks to combine the best of two Masonic eras: the traditional 19th century and modern research, communication, and dissemination techniques of the 21st century and the Internet.

Our jurisdiction covers all regions of the state of California, and we focus primarily on the educational advancement of Hispanic and Latin American Masons. Our main objective is for each member to take Masonic education to their respective lodges, to illuminate the path of our Brothers and strengthen our Fraternity.

To our Brothers seeking more light in Freemasonry, we invite you to join us on this path of discovery and Masonic growth. Lodges and research societies are an excellent option for those who wish to delve deeper into Masonic wisdom.

Fraternally,

Oliver A Torrealba Torres
Master of California Hispanic & Latin American Research Lodge
